I am not a 24hour company, but i will try my best to get to any customers that needs me any time of the day! After taking a call on friday night around 8 pm from a customer panicing from water coming through the living room ceiling, I explained that they should isolate the main water and wait for me to arrive.
on arrival i checked the pressure on the boiler to find that the pressure was on zero, therefore i knew that the leak coming through the ceiling had been from the heating system. Luckily the customer had found the location of the leak himself, it was just a case of cutting out the leak and replacing it. As you can see from the picture the leak had been caused by a split fitting!
After I replaced the section of pipework, the heating system was refilled and everything tested.
